Roy Pegram Roy Pegram - Sales Manager and Broker, has extensive experience in real estate auctions and private treaty sales, vehicle sales, industrial sales, and was formerly a purchasing manager at a large industrial firm. Prior to joining ASC Roy owned his own business as a sales consultant which he sold after seven years and semi retired; after a period of rest, Roy joined our team and became our sales manager, supervising our auction sales personnel and private treaty brokers, providing excellent services to all of our clients. Roy is a Master Mason, and he and his wife Phyllis live in Statesville and are active in their community and church.
Jimmy Stutts jimmystutts@assetservicescorporation.com Jimmy Stutts – Project Manager – Jimmy provides the leadership and supervision of our auction team before and after the sale. He leads our auction ground team and is responsible for sale preparation, staging, accurate inventory of the items to be sold, lot tagging, sign placement, security, as well as supervision of our sale staff on sale day. After the sale, Jimmy is responsible for supervision of loading equipment and merchandise, as well as supervising the clean up of the site. Jimmy has extensive skills in all types of areas including heavy equipment, rigging, welding, machine shop equipment, farm machinery, trucks and vehicles, as well as electrical and mechanical. Jimmy lives near Mooresville, and his son James is a rising senior at Carson High School in Rowan County.
Laura S. Hodges laurahodges@assetservicescorporation.com Laura Hodges – Administrative Assistant & Marketing Coordinator – and is a Notary Public in North Carolina - Laura is responsible for daily office operations as well as marketing for our auctions. Laura’s focus is preparing our auction brochures and advertisements, our website and the other auction websites. In addition, Laura places newspaper and trade publications copy for advertisements, and maintain our extensive mailing list. Laura also clerks and cashiers on auction days and prepares the computerized auction settlement for our clients. Prior to joining ASC, Laura worked as an administrative assistant for D.H. Griffin Construction Company in Raleigh. Laura lives at Lake Norman with her husband Roy, and they enjoy spending their free time with their granddaughters Skylar and Saylar.

C. E. “Gene” Holland geneholland@assetservicescorporation.com Gene Holland – Vice President and Treasurer – Appraiser and Sales Consultant – Before joining ASC, Gene established a successful business in the trucking industry which he sold approximately seven years ago, and now brings his extensive knowledge of Coins, Firearms, Antique Cars, Antique Furniture, Pottery, Depression Glass, China and Silver. Gene earned a coin grading certification from the American Numismatic Society (ANA) and is well known for his knowledge of this industry. Gene has also served on local and regional bank boards, and has been active in community serving in various posts on our Chamber of Commerce, the Mooresville Rotary Club, and is a 32nd Degree Mason. Gene and his wife Debbie live in Mooresville and are active in the community and church.

Tom Burke Tom Burke - Auctioneer and Broker, Tom has skills in sales, marketing and management are second nature to Tom Burke. With 20 years in the national soft drink industry and 10 years as an independent business owner, Tom uses these skills to benefit clients looking to sell their house or estate by auction. Tom’s genuine interest in people, coupled with his knowledge and experience, creates success for the client. Clients continually comment on Tom’s personal commitment to make their auction or Real Estate sale or purchase a satisfying experience. Tom is a licensed auctioneer in North Carolina. Tom is also a member of the North Carolina Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association. Tom is also a licensed Broker and REALTOR® in North and South Carolina and is also a Notary Public in North Carolina.
Barry Brown barrybrown@assetservicescorporation.com Barry is an area native and a graduate of the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Utilizing his degree in International Political Economy, Barry spent his younger years working in International sales and marketing for the Cooper Group before founding the Intercontinental Computer Marketing Corporation, an international computer brokerage firm. In 1988, he started the Barry K. Brown Company, specializing in Estate Planning and Financial Services. He now brings his education, knowledge and skill to bear in the locating and procurement of family farms and large land tracts. He and his wife, Lynne, live up in the Brushy Mountains on a fifty three acre farm where he raises organic pork and beef.
